Flownamics® was founded in 1995 to address the growing needs of fermentation and bioreactor operators in the biotechnology industry. Our focus is to design high quality products that are easy to operate. Our products assist researchers in developing methods to optimize their fermentation or bioreactor processes and are utilized in a variety of settings, including labs, pilot plants, and production scale. Flownamics products are designed to dramatically reduce process development time, and to provide increased cost savings in production and manufacturing environments by providing automated sampling solutions.
Flownamics, Inc. offers two main product lines. The FISP® cell free sampling probes for fermentation and cell culture has become the industry standard for cell free sampling. We have over 600 of these probes in use world wide. Available for port sizes of 12, 19 and 25mm with immersion lengths from 90mm to 410mm. Low maintenance, long lasting, and utilize a ceramic membrane with a 0.2µm pore size. The Seg-Flow™ utilizes Flownamics'® patent pending "Segmented On-Line Sampling"™ technology for minimal, rapid, accurate and reliable sampling from a bioreactor. The Seg-Flow™ can utilize the FISP® probes or other methods to draw samples from up to 8 bioreactors/fermentors and directs sample to 4 analyzers or fraction collectors. The system is fully automated and can control feed to reactors based on your analyzer's results. The Seg-Flow™ reduces man-hours by performing overnight and weekend sampling, this reduction in man hours will result in the return on your capital investment in a matter of months.

Mycosynthetix Inc. is a privately-held microbial products company founded in 2001. Mycosynthetix owns a unique continually expanding fungal collection containing 55,000 individual isolates and these have been employed by medicinal, agricultural and industrial discovery groups seeking novel metabolites and enzymes. We supply libraries of fungal products together with follow-on support for optimization, isolation and scale- up. This has resulted in the discovery of novel biologically active compounds and Mycosynthetix also provides the taxonomy required for patenting purposes. Mycosynthetix works with both fungal and bacterial fermentation products, and conducts fermentation and biotransformation research and development with microorganisms from our own collection and those provided by our customers. In addition to providing natural products to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries we are currently working on projects funded by the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute
