July 10, 2009 - Last day for online and mail-in registrations. Please plan to register onsite.

July 26, 2009 - Onsite registration opens - Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. Late registration fee in effect.

Note:

Students interested in being considered for the Best Student Poster Presentation Awards (one in each of the core areas) will be judged onsite during each of the poster sessions. Awards will be presented at the Annual Banquet on Tuesday, July 28. Winners should plan to attend the banquet.

The Society for Industrial Microbiology's (SIM) Annual Meeting and Exhibition will be held July 26 - 30, 2009 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The annual meeting and exhibition continues to be an excellent opportunity for scientists and engineers from academia, government and industry to exchange information, share ideas, network, and advance the application of microbes, mammalian cells, and enzymes for industrial processes.

A program committee consisting of leaders from the industrial and academic communities has been assembled and a first-rate scientific program consisting of over 40 symposia has been put together covering the following topics: Biocatalysis, Environmental Microbiology, Fermentation & Cell Culture, Metabolic Engineering, and Natural Products.
