Each poster session is three (3) hours in length. Authors should be available during that time to answer questions, expand on the material and take part in discussions. The following guidelines have been adopted.
1. Abstracts scheduled for poster session presentation will be grouped by topic. Poster sessions will be held: Sunday, April 29 and Monday, April 30.

12:00 Noon Poster teardown. All posters must be removed no later than 3:00 pm on Tuesday or they may
be discarded.
2. Posters should be mounted on assigned boards. Locate your poster number in the meeting program. Your poster number will be posted on your board prior to set up.
3. The poster board surface area is 4 feet high by 4 feet wide. There will be 2 posters per side of each 4 foot x 8 foot poster board. Larger posters may not overlap another. Failure to show courtesy to fellow presenters may result in removal of a poster.
4. Charts, drawings and illustrations should be at least 11" x14" on regular weight paper, not mounted on cardboard. Type should be easily legible at a distance of several feet. Figure legends are essential and should be short but informative. You may also find it useful to bring a sketch-paper tablet (9" x 12" ) and felt marking pens for use during discussions. Availability of hand-out materials and photocopies of the abstract is helpful. Please do not write, draw or paste on the poster boards.
5. There will be a supply of poster pins available at the SIM registration desk.
