SIM Job Fair at the 2010 SIM Annual Meeting
One of the benefits of Society membership is access to SIM's online career center and job placement service. SIM provides
these services to those members in need of a position and those looking to hire.
Looking for a job?
SIM offers the following options for those
members seeking employment:
1. Send a copy of your resume to Mr.
Bob Berger, Placement chair. This service will
match your qualifications with employer requests
and inform you of appropriate openings. Of course,
your inquiry and information will be kept strictly
confidential.
2. Search
SIM's online job bank. Benefits of the online job bank:
- Job seekers may use the site without charge.
- Place your resume into the database either on a fully named or confidential basis.
- Resumes available to employers.
- Set criteria for ideal job and receive weekly emails of new listings matching your specifications.
Employers: Looking to hire?
SIM offers the following options for those employers with jobs available:
1. Email job details to the Placement
chair for a more specialized, confidential
search of member resumes.
2. Post your position on our online job bank. Benefits of online job posting:
- Realtime posting with the ability to preview job prior to posting. Once posted, job detail format may include company logo, profile on the company and Google map of company location (if desired).
- Permits employers to add/edit/delete jobs, track job activity statistics, including number of times each job is viewed.
- Enables employers to reach prospective candidates fast by utilizing search agent technology that delivers appropriate candidates directly to the employer's email inbox.
- Automated email notification lets employers know when their job will expire.
Prices
SIM Corporate Members: First 30 day posting is complimentary; $175 per additional 30 day posting
Nonmembers: $250 per 30 day posting. Additional packages for multiple postings.
